With two degrees, one in Ecology and one in Botany and a life-long passion for Natural History, Mike is a regular face on “The One Show” on BBC1 and also the co-presenter on “Nature’s Top 40” on BBC2. He has been a presenter on CBeebies “Autumnwatch” & “Springwatch” and is one of BBC1’s “Inside Out” presenting team.
He has written books complementing his series and also writes magazine articles for different publications. His new book ”My back garden” will be out in July. A keen traveller Mike “Tour-Leads” at different locations worldwide for wildlife holiday companies and is fluent in Spanish and basic Swahili and Vietnamese.
A committed and loyal supporter of Birdfair Mike has attended the event for many years selflessly offering his services to do anything he can to support the projects.
