Bruce Pearson

Bruce Pearson will be showing a range of paintings, prints and sketches derived from experiences of wildlife and the natural world.
His starting point is the field experience as pure observation is the raw material. The restlessness of birds, animals and sometimes insects are what fascinates; as well as the rhythm of the landscape and the space the creatures inhabit.
Sometimes people working in wild places also help create powerful images and dramatic themes.
Back in the studio the work is viewed in a new light and the ideas developed as paintings and prints.
