Simon King shares his personal hints and tips for revealing and understanding the lives of creatures on your doorstep, at home and abroad.
Simon’s unparalleled fieldcraft skills are brought to the stage as he whistles, grunts and squeaks his way into the wild world. In this all new presentation you will understand the subtle signs that betray the presence of badgers, foxes, otters and more. Learn how, by using simple home-made devices, you can identify your natural neighbours. Simon will also share some of the unique footage of rarely witnessed animal behaviour gleaned from a year of surveillance using webcams and camera traps in the UK and overseas.
Simon’s hallmark light-hearted approach to public speaking, peppered with lashings of factual content, will colour the tone of the show, ending with an opportunity for the audience to ask him questions about anything from his role as president of the Wildlife Trusts to his work as cameraman for the recently released movie, African Cats.
Immediately after Simon’s talk he will be on the Carl Zeiss stand (OM4) signing autographs.
