WILD COLOMBIA AND UNTAMED CHINA - A NATURALIST’S INCREDIBLE JOURNEY.
Over the last year Nigel and his team have been filming in Colombia; a country with a chequered past. Political unrest has placed Colombia’s natural wonders in the shade in recent years but now it is open for naturalists from all over the world to safely enjoy the incredible spectacles on offer. Wild Colombia will be the first major natural history series to document Colombia’s incredible biodiversity since it became safe for visitors once more and Nigel will be showing footage never seen before. He will also tell stories of his adventures and how he & his team managed to film the abundant and colourful birdlife. Colombia has over 160 species of hummingbird, more than any other country on earth. Nigel will be showing species never before filmed, some in extreme slow motion. He will also talk about filming his recent series, Untamed China, and tell of the importance of China’s wetlands and the Yellow Sea.
