The Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust stand will feature comprehensive information and resources on the Trust’s work to protect and enhance the wildlife and wild places of Leicestershire and Rutland and to engage people with their local environment. Trust staff and volunteers will be on hand to give advice on getting the best out of a visit to the Trust’s 32 nature reserves including Rutland Water Nature Reserve – one of the most important wildfowl sanctuaries in Great Britain. The Trust’s Rutland Osprey Project will also be a key feature of the stand, giving up to the minute information on the activity and breeding success of these magnificent birds at Rutland Water. There will also be fun Wildlife Watch children’s activities on a garden wildlife theme including arts and crafts, puzzles and competitions
